These Terms & Conditions are a binding agreement between you and [Registered legal entity name — e.g. Sakhi Mobility Pvt. Ltd.] (“Sakhi Cabs”, “we”) governing your use of our website, apps, and cab-booking services. By creating an account or booking a ride, you accept these terms.
1. Our service
Sakhi Cabs is a technology platform that connects riders with driver-partners for city rides, airport transfers, outstation trips, society cabs, and women-driver options in and around Bengaluru. We facilitate bookings; the transportation is provided by the driver-partner.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your phone number and PIN/OTP confidential.
You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Bookings & fares
Fares shown are estimates and may vary with distance, time, tolls, parking, waiting, terminal charges, and applicable taxes.
Coupons and referral credits are subject to their own terms and may be withdrawn or changed.
You agree to pay the final fare via the available payment methods. Cash payments, where offered, are made directly to the driver.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking in the app. A cancellation fee may apply once a driver is assigned or after a free-cancellation window. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
5. Acceptable use & safety
Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose, or harass, endanger, or discriminate against drivers or other riders.
Follow safety instructions; do not exceed seating capacity or carry prohibited items.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
6. Driver-partners
Driver-partners are independent contractors, not our employees. Additional terms apply to driver registration and use of the driver app.
7. Liability
We provide the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for acts or omissions of independent driver-partners. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
8. Intellectual property
The Sakhi Cabs name, logo, app, and content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission.
9. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction. You may also raise concerns through our grievance process.
10. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will change and continued use means acceptance.
