Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when cancellation charges apply and how refunds are processed for bookings made with Sakhi Cabs.

1. Cancelling a ride

You can cancel any booking from the app or by contacting support.
Cancellations made before a driver is assigned, or within the free-cancellation window shown at booking, are free of charge.
After a driver is assigned or has started toward the pickup, a cancellation fee may apply to compensate the driver. The applicable fee is shown before you confirm the cancellation.

2. Refunds

If you paid online and are charged in error, the ride fails, or you cancel within the free window, the eligible amount is refunded to your original payment method.
Refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Where a cancellation fee applies, only the balance (amount paid minus the fee and any taxes) is refunded.
Coupon and referral credits used on a cancelled ride are credited back to your account where applicable; promotional discounts are not refunded as cash.

3. No-shows & failed pickups

If the driver cannot reach you, you are unreachable, or you do not arrive at the pickup point within the waiting time, the booking may be cancelled and a fee may apply. If the driver fails to arrive, you are not charged and any prepaid amount is refunded.

4. How to request a refund

Raise a request in the app or contact us at [support@sakhicabs.in] or +91 78923 36951 with your booking details. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within the timelines above. Unresolved issues can be escalated through our Grievance Redressal process.
