This is the official Sakhi Cabs account and data deletion page for the Sakhi Cabs rider app. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains the request steps, what is deleted, what may be retained, and the retention period.
How to request deletion
In the Sakhi Cabs app or web app: sign in with your registered WhatsApp number, open Account → Data Deletion, and tap “Delete my account”.
If you cannot sign in, email [privacy@sakhicabs.in] (or [grievance@sakhicabs.in]) from your registered email/number with the subject “Delete my Sakhi Cabs account”. Include your registered WhatsApp number so we can verify ownership.
You can also call +91 78923 36951 during support hours and ask for Sakhi Cabs account deletion. We may ask you to verify the registered number before processing.
What gets deleted
On verified deletion, we delete or anonymise your rider account profile, name, registered mobile/WhatsApp number, email if provided, saved ride preferences, device push tokens, referral/account identifiers, and personal pickup/drop details linked to booking requests where we are not legally required to keep the original data.
What we may retain
We may retain limited non-account or legally required records, such as invoices, payment/tax/accounting records, completed trip and safety records, fraud-prevention logs, support/dispute records, and records needed for transport, aggregator, law-enforcement, or consumer-protection obligations. Where possible, these records are anonymised so they are no longer tied to your active Sakhi Cabs account.
Timeline
In-app signed-in deletion is processed immediately for the account record and session. Manual email/phone requests are acknowledged within 48 hours and completed after verification within 30 days.
Records retained for legal, tax, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute reasons may be kept for the legally required period, generally up to 8 years where accounting or statutory retention applies, and are then deleted or anonymised. Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered and you would need to sign up again to use Sakhi Cabs.
Delete from your signed-in app session
If you are signed in to the Sakhi Cabs app, this page shows a Delete account button. If you are not signed in, use the email/phone request steps above.
