You can delete your Sakhi Cabs account and associated personal data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
How to request deletion
In the app: open Account → Help/Settings → “Delete my account”, or
Email [privacy@sakhicabs.in] (or [grievance@sakhicabs.in]) from your registered email/number with the subject “Delete my account”, or
Call +91 78923 36951 during support hours.
What gets deleted
On verifying your request, we delete or anonymise your profile, saved addresses, contact details, ride preferences, and other personal data that we are not required to keep.
What we may retain
We may retain limited data where the law requires it — for example, invoices and transaction records for tax and accounting, and records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or meet aggregator-licensing obligations. Retained data is kept only for as long as required and is then deleted.
Timeline
We acknowledge deletion requests within 48 hours and complete verified deletions within 30 days. Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered and you would need to sign up again to use the service.
